Shot in B&W then tweaked a little in Elements, removed electricity wires and mild adjustment to levels. Some may comment on slope but if you look at the left wall of the remains they are vertical, the ground really does slope Smile
I did try a sepia version but didn't work, ideas?

Great shot! It's always hard isn't it with slopes like this, however you have done the right thing leaving this like it is, we don't want the cows falling over! A lovely shot all round and nice in mono.

I really like it..... but surely the trees would grow straight and not all lean to the left? The Old Abbey near Ripley isn't on a slope!

You've got me wondering now as I'm beginning to think something slopes at the end of the Abbey but I thought that was just a buttress.

I'll drive by and have a look at the weekend. I agree a flood plain shouldn't slope that much Smile

Nice one Jeremy. I'm not worried about the slope but I am concerned that the sky is blown out so I've uploaded a version tweeked in curves to correct this. For fun I have also uploaded a version where I converted to sepia and heavily desaturated and tweeked the hue a little. I've also put up a version where I've adjusted the hue over to the green sector and again desaturated. The last one is with the hue tweeked over to the blue sector and heavily desaturated. I quite like the blue one.

I must admit it does encourage that cold feeling to the picture.

Thank you Smile

A great composition, with a lovely 'cold' morning dawn feeling to it !
I've created a mod. giving the shot a 'blue' tone, plus a couple of other tweaks. I did this & uploaded the mod before seeing the ones from James-C, bo it looks like a toned version is popular ! Top notch image !!

Fascinating how these have been moded I really need to get to learn how to use Photoshop Elements a lot better rather than basic editing.

Many thanks to every one
