Each of those images is a winner in their own right!!! I think I'd have held some back to post when I ran out of material!!!! I just love that mist, and it's interesting to note that you had a little breeze according to the grass in the foreground of V1. Superb work.

Square crop for me Alun, but then I would say that.
It all balances beautifully. Even that stick under the water balances with the con-trail !

I sneaked in another two while you were viewing the front image, Paul :O)

Thanks Saeid and Dave. That movement in the tall grasses was tricky. Generally I wanted more movement or less but things died down enough for me to grab this one.

Cheers Stu, m8. You know I'm a bit of a square really. As for the stick....carefully planned that way...of course.

Mike, Stewart, John and Ronnie - you are all capital fellows :O)

Dougie and Lesley - your views supported by Stu give confidence to my own inclination towards the squared shot. Thanks for your time and feedback.

BTW Where are my smilies? Is there a setting I need to enable?

Lovely light here, personally I like number 3, for both the square format and the close-up foreground water.

It is indeed. This was only the second trip I've ever made to the Lake District so I was really lucky to get the weather on the day I was going home.

Greg, Goggz, JT and Stevie - it'a a clear vote for the squared crop then. Cheers guys.
