Dawn over Petronas

Kuala Lumpur city centre (KLCC): shot through our hotel room window as the day was aborning. The Suria mall referred to in yesterday's upload can be seen bottom centre.

Just taken advantage of the Black Friday upgrade to Nik 3 - about £35's worth of well-spent cash, in my view - and have applied a couple of new filters to create this image. The trick is not to go nuts with it. I've probably missed some obvious correction error in the image, like the odd halo, but I'll learn. Regardless, the new version of Nik is very different from the original, and in a good way.

Many thanks to Bill, Allan and Richard (could be the new cast if they ever remake "Three Men and a Baby" Wink) for their kind UAs yesterday, and thanks also to all who expressed interest.

That's not the usual image one sees of the towers, and works extremely well, looking like the scene of a futuristic thriller. As a recent convert to Nik, I can see why you are pleased with it; no doubt there will be many more fine examples. Thanks for the cinematic suggestion, but I won't volunteer for the nappies - that would not be a good look.
