Daylight & Wood

By lifesnapper
Hi all, and thank you for your votes and fun comments on my 'Where's My Top'.
Just for a change, here's a BIG top in the form of a very large Roof in Chatham Dockyard. I thought you must be getting bored with all those Sun and Sea pictures, so this is a couple of images much closer to Home. ( Hope someone likes them) Wink
All the best to all,

John Smile

I like them both but couldn't resist a bit of tinkering to make two more images out of them.

A bit like the Aldi advert, I like these tops, and i liked "those" tops.
2 Wonderful images of practical craftsmanship. It's nice to see these old wooden buildings
still standing, so much more interesting than steel and concrete blocks.

I hope you didn't think that I was bored, John Tongue
But these I do like very much; V2 rather more, for the offset composition is stronger. Really good graphic work.
Now if there were room for the other top beneath this roof . . . BlushBlushBlush

The term 'big top' I always associate with the tentage used by travelling circuses, but it seems an ideal description of your roof interiors here, John.
An impressive structure and with all those windows allowing plenty of light to percolate within.
Difficult exposure but you have managed well with these two shots, capturing good detail (and I would guess a crick in the neckWinkWinkWink).

Dunno why you mention ''Big Tops'' John,
everyone thinks of breasts !!
Two fine shots of the roof here.
Looks like the inside of a bra Madonna would have worn !!

It's getting like a circus on here with Mikbee and Ronnie constantly acting like clowns, and to think this was once a serious photography site!WinkGrin
