Daylight robbery

Took this photo in March this year in Llandudno. Seconds before I took this picture this cheeky seagull snatched an ice-cream from a terrified ten year old and gobbled it up in a split second! The seagulls were not phased at all by humans, hence I got this close with just my 350d kit lense! This is my first wildlife shot I have uploaded, would love to know what people think. I like the other seagull in the corner in the background. Will have to upgrade soon so it can be viewed large as its really sharp on the feathers on full screen.

great pic,this stirs a memory we saw a seagull attack a woman for an icecream at Llandudno it was on the day the two tower were hit 9/11.

its a cracking shot, now next time i get an ice cream im gonna be looking over my shoulder for an air raid attack

This is a lovely shot, and what doesn't come through in the thumbnail is the 2nd gull top left, giving a quizzical look. Like it a lot.

For a first attempt, I would give you high marks, especially with keeping the exposure correct on the bird's whites, getting the horizon level and capturing such good detail too.

Great shot, the one on the pop machine in the background seems like the lookout...
