Dead Calm...

By mcgannc
Afternoon all,

Thought I'd upload at a different time for a change!

This is another taken during the recent Wirral Meet when we headed out to Hilbre Island. The sea was particularly calm - the thin dark blue line across the horizon is the wind rippling the sea and we watched as it slowly made it's way closer!

Really liked the simplicity of this image, and reminded me (as the title suggests) of a great film I once watched.

Be great to hear what you think of this quite minimalist shot! All comments welcomed. Thanks for looking,

Chris

Hi Chris,
You mention minimalist, however you haven't mentioned the fabulous colour's and sheer beauty, as a sailor - I want to be on that boat. I think it's an awsome pic.
