Very intriguing image indeed!

I love the colour scheme and the overall composition.

Perhaps the blurred arms would've looked a bit more effective if they were in a wider arc?

Love it, however. Smile

Wow, now this is the kinda stuff I'm interested in. Very creative. The tone is perfect - urban and gritty.

Stunning shot. I keep thinking I can see things in the background that aren't there, like eyes.

firstly congratulations on the EC =)

this is a great image and very interesting to look at

i really like the overall composition and detail and it has a great atmosphere

i love surrealism and this one certainly excites the surreal element in my brain - the female looks cool in the way she is dressed and her blurry arms and the industrial building backdrop works perfectly to bring together the whole scene

keep up the great work

Hi Trine. I would be very interested to know what lighting you used on this.

Cheers

Al.
Hi Al.

Actually, it was quite simple; This is one of many fantastic buildings at an old ship warf in my town(that now unfortunately are gone). On her right and front are large windows with broken glass that let the light in. In addition I had a rather large mirror below her, to reflect the light and soften the shadows.

It was a "poor woman setup" Wink (compact camera and being creative with available light)

Maybe I would have the lady centered in the middle, but otherwise, a very interesting image. Background works well.

Great to see something so completely different. The background is brilliant and adds to much to the overall image. Great toning too. Congratulations on you EC.
