It portrays rather well a cold atmosphere. The absence of direct sunlight with the presence of grey sky and its reflection on the blue water give it an even cooler feeling. I think Portra, because of its tendency to emphasise the red (and gove a rather pleasant skin hue to white people) suits autumn scenes and colours better. Greens and blues are more faded here but that blends well with the idea of icy cold conditions. Cool!
