Deep In The Wood

By Loudon
Part of a tree in Acomb Wood. I have been intrigued by this particular piece of trunk for some months. Today I took my tripod to get a steady shot of it in less than perfect light. I converted thr photo to mono, added a vignette and allowed some colour to seep back into the shot.
