Deep In Thought

By Tynnwrlluniau
Was on Skomer with PEBishop over the weekend. Apparently Geoffrey Baker and Phil Morgan were also there unknown to us, so EPZ was well-represented! I only got a few, mediocre in-flight shots but captured a range of moods and expressions with the easier stuff Smile This one appeared quite abstracted, probably musing on how great it is to make the annual journey to Skomer to see the humans and their funny ways, waddling about with peculiar black, white or even camo protrusions in front of their comical faces ....

Thanks, Ade. Silly me. Uploaded the wrong version. Variant 2 was closer to the scene in terms of brightness although it's a subtle difference.

Deep in thevgrasses and deep in thought: an excellent side portrait of this wee bird with good use of selective focussing from wide aperture.
