Out in the middle of the Fens is this derelict cottage which raises many questions. When was it last occupied? How many Happy Christmases happened there? When was it built? Who lived there? etc. etc.
No doubt a bit of research will reveal some of the answers but in the meantime it slowly crumbles away.

Hi Albert - excellent image - Jude.
Super image, does make you think seeing these old places.
Super image Albert. You have captured some lovely detail in there.
What a shame to see these beautiful places fall into rack and ruin, obviously once someone's very cherished home. Well captured, Albert. Carol
You have discovered my little hiding place, great image, lovely detail and colours. Grey here again
I love imagining all these things too, We live in an old house and I wonder what stories it could tell, I think they would be happy ones.
I love the light on your picture and the composition
Sorry to hear you can't get it to go bigger

Super light and colours.
Beautiful light and detail in the bricks Albert; excellent find.
The windows are like a very sad face, and that chimney is standing up very well.
Like me Albert,I do wonder of all the mystery and intrigue that went on in these old buildings.Seems a shame this one, as it seems to be crumbling piece by piece.A good take of dereliction here.
Many thanks to everyone who have looked, voted and commented.
