Desert flowers

By Kali
This is Khanchana (far left) and the women folk of her family.

They are hard working girls, the guys tend to sit around in the desert all day drinking chai.

Even when the canvas sheet that covers their home was leaking it was Khanchana up there fixing it (and she is pregnant)

Its a hard life for these girls but they are among the most colourful, amusing and throughly mischievious people ive ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Laura, what do you do prior to uploading. Do you resize (not longer than 600 pixels on the longest side) it according the epz-requirements, and how large was the file which you uploaded kb-wise ?

edit : just checked the properties on the pic and it says 135 kb, which would mean it's too big and the site system automatically compresses it to stay under 100 kb (non members can upload pictures of maximum 100 kb)
Assume what you see is compression because of this.

If you look under the drop down menu for ePHOTOzine, there is FAQs section which tells you about optimum resizing and uploading for web which may help. Also, are you making sure you are uploading in sRGB.

The colors and character comes through on this one even with the pixelation Smile
