desert mountains

By jdh2
This is a washed out creek bed probably caused by a flash flood in north central New Mecico, USA. Photographed near Santa Fe, New Mexico, this is within an Indian reservation inhabited by the Jihime Indians once controlled by the Spaniards who entered from Mexico. I like the harshness of the landscape and I hope you like it as well. Nikon D-300, Nikon 18-200, f-8, 1/500. October 2008
