Thanks for all your C&Vs for yesterday.
A couple of Sundays ago, during Sunday night and the early hours of Monday morning, the light covers on the seafront were totally destroyed. See V1 for what they used to look like. Why!! Well, when you have a fairly large police station that has been closed for a few years now the Devil makes work for a certain element of society and this small seaside town of 40,000, is no different in today's modern society. Along with that, certain glass frontage was also vandalized and a small kiosk was broken into and robbed.

So sad, and so anger making. Vandalism, litter dropping, fly tipping and graffitti could all be stopped if the will was there.
A harsh, long term punishment, well publicised, would act as a deterrent.

'That's what happens when you do not punish transgressors'.

A sad reflection on present day society. If it is beautiful, it must on the list to be vandalized. Good capture of the aftermath, Mike.

Lets face it, there are four basic human needs: food, sleep, sex and vandalism...

Sorry news for your lovely location Mike , very well documented , if caught they should be put to work repairing their damage and gain some appreciation of the locality !

Shame about lights but lovely shot.

So sad, I have been around long enough to know this isn't a modern trend it's been around for years!
