Dick Mack's

By Andrew_Hurley
This is the Legendary **** Mac's of Dingle. It even appears on postcards, paintings and in books.

If you want to know where **** Mack's is, it's opposite the church, if you want to know where the church is, it's opposite **** Mack's!

**** Mack's is the place to visit for a rounded introduction to the life of the town, as the pub is a favourite with visitors and residents alike. In keeping with the eccentric nature of Dingle, the building is part pub, part restaurant and part - leather goods shop.

On a typical evening the clientele is an eclectic mix of locals, visitors from other parts of Ireland, and "expats", all no doubt with a story to intrigue the visitor, or a tune to play.

Former visitors include Timothy Dalton, Julie Roberts, Robert Mitchum, Sean Connery and Dolly Parton!

I concerted the image to Mono, sepia toned it and added 25% of the colour back in. I quite like the effect and I feel it suits the subject.

Sorry, but would have like to have seen a lot more colourful detail. Has got real character but you are not showing it...JIM.

Agree with Jim up above Andrew, there's so much colour and character in these pubs. Great shot.
