Actually if you replace the 2 windows with a big bay one this does remind me of the old house I used to live in !!

Knew this had to be yours from the thumbnail, Lesley! You do capture these so well, especially balancing the outdoor light through the windows with the interior light. Excellent Wink

You have balanced the exposure perfectly here Lesley. It looks to me like you have you applied a touch of Gaussian blur as well?
