Good day all,
I got a new toy!!! A Canon 550D body, and so i took it to a local river for a field test aiming to get some shots of a coots nest when suddenly my favorite river bird the dipper appeared! I was still getting to grips with my new camera but couldn't pass up a chance to photograph them, then not long before they disappeared one of them fed the other their catch. I have never seen this before so was well chuffed to have got a shot.

Its not the sharpest of images as a slow shutter speed was needed to get good exposure but I'm pleased regardless and think this is worth sharing!! Hoping to put my new camera through its paces properly on my birthday this weekend when i visit a local zoo (tests inside the house and garden are all well and good but i need a lot of different situations to really get a "feel" for the new camera).

Anyway thanks for the comments on my last upload i really hope you like this one and have a good day! Also i may enable voting again for a period at least to get a better idea on what shots people like.

A good image Scott.....sometimes it's more important to get the shot than to worry whether it's technically perfect, and you've captured the moment with this one.
