Dirleton, Kirkyard

By mac
Dirleton is one of the prettiest of East Lothianís conservation villages, set along the south side of the Forth on the coastal road between Gullane and North Berwick. It is characterised by a large village green surrounded by a maze of pantiled houses, historic Dirleton Castle and Dirleton Kirk, two inns and nearby the popular and spectacular Yellowcraig Beach.
Colour version included.

That was lucky, having someone vaping behind the tree.
Seriously, a very attractive composition, and the b&w would be my choice.

Both are great in their own but it has to be mono for me, Ian.

I like both versions but like the moodiness of the graveyard in mono, the wide sky above makes our short life seem insignificant in comparison.
