Like the hues and composition here - nitpick ... the horizon could do with a little level

The high contrast treatment really works with this excellent graphic comp simplified to perfection and allows the shapes to really stand out. The streaking of the clouds matches the angle of the groyne and the limited colour scheme helps further tie the elements together. I'd thought the horizon was an optical illusion but having read the comments above I checked and it does slope just a fraction down to the right - easy to correct by rotating the crop tool although it's a very fine adjustment that's needed. I guess it stands out because such a bold composition is unforgiving to tiny errors. Still looks great though, your photography has come on miles in the past year.

Delightful minimalist image. Well worth the time and effort.
