Distant Lights

By Glynn
Taken as the light was almost gone on the first day of the recent Spurn Point meet. This was a difficult shot to take as the tide was coming in very fast and myself & Fran kept having to run back up the beach so as not to get drowned Smile.

We persevered and i managed to get this one.
The title - well if you look close you can see very distant lights on the ships leaving Hull.

Well thats it for 3 weeks as i am going to be flying on my holiday's later today, so see all of you when i get back (unless there is internet where i am going).

Honest comments please as usual

Big 4-0 from me, Sweetie! Smile

Might've been fun if we'd been cut-off, MrS could've got his EC for Photo-Journalism (he hasn't got one of those yet!) Wink

Thats a cracking image, the rope on the foreground groin adds that extra interest and then your drawn into the rear and out to sea. Great image

Actually I like this so much, and I think it is such a leap in quality I want to give this my award, the composition (you always do this well) is spot on, but the light and your delicate processing of it is sublime.

A gorgeous image Glynn, congratulations.
