Distant squall

By oldgreyheron
Nearer home, and from the archives (before the Canons).

Taken on an otherwise fine day in the summer on Redcar beach. The weather in the distance towards Huntcliffe and Saltburn was very threatening!

1/210s @ f8.2

There is much more to see if you choose to view large. Thank you for looking, Mike

Super shot Mike. Lovely composition (the horizon is straight (LOL)) and I hope you didn't get wet with the imminent rain. Very moody pic.

This really is a fine shot. It certainly shows the change in weather, and of course the storm light is always spectacular.

The looming menace in the sky reminds me why I'm happier on land! There's not a soul to be seen on the beach: bet they think like me....

Superb shot.

Sorry about the double comment - my computer is so slow to react today that I've clicked the mouse twice in frustration..

Good squally pic, Mike. At least the squall is delineated; today it was one massive system, from one horizon to the other. This looks better.
