Distraction Technique

By NDODS
A rather silly and in someways quite pointless set of images which were captured whilst going to and whilst at Kings College Hospital, on Monday the 20th of August. They were captured as purely a diversionary tactic, to give my brain something to think about other than the next seven-eight hours.

Hope you enjoy, I have tried to make light of the somewhat nerve racking, and at times rather distressing day. "Its is my way of coping" The day ended with me receiving rather good news (Further details will be provided by a PM if you wish?)

A very big thank you for all your kind and caring words over the past few days, weeks, and months.

Regards Nathan

I think for a lot of us, photography is part of how we cope with life, make sense of the world.
V12 is brilliant and deserves its own separate upload.
V31 is the best laugh I've had all evening, and after a three hour meeting I needed it!

Back, and to your humourus best. I've checked out 31 and 12 and a couple of others, hilarious, Nathan. Unfortunately they're taking about 30secs each to open so I'm going to have to come back another time.

Your caption for V 31 is hilarious : I too have not managed to view them all as it's taking so long to switch from one to the next.
But what I have seen of this eclectic mix must surely have been one of the best diversionary techniques for you, and I am so glad at the end of the day you got some good news.

A wonderful set, Nathan.
Photography as a coping mechanism seems to have given some very fine results here, especially coupled with your wonderful commentary.
And yes, V31 is absolutely priceless.
Best wishes for the future.

A brilliant and humorous set of images documenting your day from start to finish. I think you are into the Guiness Book of Records for this epic upload, I think even the Lifesnapper who is famed for his mega uploads will be hard pushed to beat 40 in a day!Grin Your use of alliteration is legendary and your use of the English language with some of your witty captions has had me in stitches, it is a dam shame that I can't give my Terry Thomas award to you today as it only allows me to award it to images posted on the 25th of August or laterSad
