Divine Pillars

By wupohan
The air was crisp and freezing. I was lucky enough to capture this image as a thick cloud covered the sky soon after this shot. I was hoping to make an HDR image, but little did I know that I actually had to snap three times even when bracketing EV was set. But I think this works fine. I hope you like it, too. Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers!

It's certainly a different take on the usual pictures we see of this scene. Nice work. Andy

a tip for you.

If you have set the camera to auto exposure bracketting, put the camera on self timer. The camera will automatically take the 3 shots.

Another fine image, thanks for the info you sent me.

Anthony

An excellent shot and beautiful landscape.

The mod's a mono conversion with some dodging and burning and an increase in contrast. I straightened the horizon too.

Alan.
