Diving Kite

By geoffrey baker
Another Red Kite image, I caught this one as it was diving down to get it's food, the background is the natural sky.

Taken in portrait format, I had to crop 20% off the top and add 20% canvas to the bottom to reposition the bird for better composition, well, they fly so fast ;o)

Taken at the Red Kite feeding station at Llanduesant, South Wales.

Perfect composition and clarity Geoff, great use of Photoshop to add canvas! I would not know where to start to attempt this.

Great capture. Details are so good too. I couldn't even find it in my viewfinder, let alone shooting one.Grin

I'm trying to catch up with your work here, Geoffrey. That's a stunner and deserving of far more attention imho.
