Award Shortlist

Do You Dine Here Often?

By AnneWorner
Firstly, let me thank those of you who took the time to check out The Great Unknown, and for User Awards from CarolG, AnnChown, and John (alsoppdigitalart).

Shown here are monarch caterpillars (Danaus plexippus) sharing a meal of milkweed plant, and possibly having a conversation Smile

I've raised and released over 20 healthy monarch butterflies this year. Currently I have 5 chrysalises that will eclose in about one week.

Thanks for looking,

ETA: November 8 - just logged in and found four more UA's on The Great Unknown! Thanks to Walter (gajewski). Moira (mrswoolybill), Bill (woolybill1) and Joline for their awards.

I think those little stink-bugs have made several people happy - including myself! Smile

Love the composition. They look as if they're in a race against time - which perhaps they are. Wonderful detail and colour. Good to learn you're actually raising them!
