That is the game we played as children, too.
V5 is my favorite this morning....buttercups are hard to photograph well, and this one really is special.

Lovely presentation I can only say the same as Joline these flowers are so hard to capture well but you have managed six cracking shots. It never stops to amaze me how these delicate little flowers survive in all our elements.SmileSmileSmile

I do like V4..
May be it the sting of spiders thead that adds that natural image.

Superb set Jim - you have captured these small buttercups in so much detail with lovely colour and comp they are beautiful - another series framed and on a gallery wall me thinks! We also used to play the do you like butter game when we were children - fond memories!

Amazing.. they are glowing! I never thought that they look like butter, but in you camera, yes, they do. Beautifully taken, they are all very good,my favourite is V4.

Wish I were able to take these wonderful shots of them. A super set! I have always been amazed with their bright colour and the shiny film covered inner surface of their petals.
