Doe at Sunset

By digitalfingers
I've been in London just over 30 years and have only recently visited Richmond Park. I did plan the trip for a couple of weeks, keeping an eye on the weather forecast and planning for rutting season. I'd also read numerous reports of people getting too close to the wildlife at Richmond so I wanted to go when it was less crowded and with the right equipment. It was mid week, the weather was perfect and my gear was ready. Just an hours drive away and I was a short walk from the car park to where I could hear a Stag Bellowing. I spent a good two hours studying a group of deer, including a couple of Stags. This is one of my favourite images from my time with the animals.
