Dog in Daffs

By Elemobe
Haven't been around for a while due to work and lots of photography stuff. Hopefully will get to spend a bit more time here now.

Have just bought the 5D Mk II and here is one of the first shots. So far I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and really looking forward to having a lot of fun with it. Loving the full sensor.

I am doing an online Pet Photography course and this is a second attempt at an assignment. Getting good pet shots brings on a whole new set of challenges.

Thanks for all of your comments, much appreciated.

The course is with "The Perfect Picture Schools of Photography" It is Bryan Peterson's site. As with anything, you get out what you put in, but this is the 3rd course I have done with them and the standard has been very good, the instructors give really good feedback and are extremely prompt with their replies. Please feel free to e-mail me if you want to know more.

Thanks, she is a bit of a stunner Wink

I managed to get this one by stalking her in the garden - and it paid off, she sat to watch me and something caught her eye, I could see the shot and got in quick. But, yes, you are right, not easy. I have another ridgie and a lab, 3 seconds after this shot, manic play took place and many daffodils were laid to waste - lol

I will look out for pictures of yours.

the fur detail is superb, love the way you have caught her pose too - and she is beautiful too
