Donna

By TrevBatWCC
Well, my previous upload Cometa di Vetro had a few of you fooled before reading my notes as to what it was…from a punk’s hairstyle to Sonic the Hedgehog!
Here’s another outdoor glass (and steel) sculpture, entitled ‘Donna’, which translates into English as ‘Woman’ – a bit more obvious than my last upload! Not much else I can say about it, really, but if you look very closely in V1 you might just see my reflection…

V1: 1/500 sec, F11, 40mm, ISO 100
V2: 1/160 sec, F11, 18mm, ISO 100
V3: 1/100 sec, F11, 26mm, ISO 100
Looks a little better seen large if you have the time.

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Elements 6, with some assistance from Topaz Adjust.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

What an absolutely fascinating sculpture, I've never seen anything like this before. I like how her hands are curved around her lower abdomen - protecting her womb? Lovely captures, all three.

Those reflections there Trev are perfectly captured (even you!) as it has to be large viewing on all three to get the feel to these, and the sunshine has really been so kind to you for these. all brilliant shots and never saw this one do you know how long it's been there?
