Dorset heavy load

By JuBarney
Last September these engines were demonstrating their power by pulling the heavy load up "Watford Gap" (also known as the Play Pen!) at Dorset Steam Rally. The atmosphere there is great and I'm looking forward to this year: only 48 days to go!

No way can I resist this excellent image. Interesting, informative and action packed with the most classic of steam machines. Excellent! TG

I worked for several years for Hall & Woodhouse brewery in Blandford who used to sponsor this.
We used to supply old plastic barrels for the steamfair as refuse bins & for doing so used to get free tickets.

Will vouch IT IS a fantastic event..and youv'e captured it wonderfully.
