"Double Narcissus"

By RonnieAG
I am going to be absent for a few days due to other commitments, but I'll leave you with this one.........a Narcissus with a heavy head, blown down in the rain and wind and brought indoors for a KS Studio shot.

My thanks to all who commented on Mister Softie.

You've captured the wonderful crepe-like texture so perfectly in this. There are several doubles in my own garden and the problem with them is just as you say, wind and heavy rain always play havoc with them which is a shame but you've found a good use for it regardless!

A superbly crisp and clean floral composition with for me has got the perfect balance of Hue, Luminance and Saturation in a colour which is so very difficult to reproduce Ronnie

Very fancy and pretty variety.
They do tend to be too heavy for their own good.
Lovely against your black b/g.
