Dragonfly Exuviae

By clive burrow
We came across this Dragonfly exuviae early on Sunday morning, it was so fresh we think we missed catching the emergence of the actual dragonfly by no less than an hour. Taken with greyheron on an early morning stroll around Lee valley park, Essex.

I don't really use the 100mm macro that much, but when I do I just love it..

So you should Clive, the detail and colours here are absolutely superb - perhaps we should have done the sunrise start time - maybe we would have caught this guy emerging...

Great day out...
