Drakolimni (Dragon Lake)

Drakolimni is an alpine lake high up in the Pindus Mountains of Zagoria, Greece...At just over 2000m, this lake is home to alpine newts and looks over to the impressive and imposing mountain of Astraka...I had high hopes of shooting this scene in the golden hour but with bad weather on all occasions we could have gone up it wasn't to be...Instead, I managed to shoot this tranquil scene on the reccy trip after making the walk up there.
