Hi Dennis and welcome to ePz, I see you joined us today and this is your first upload.
By loading into the Critique gallery you will not collect votes or awards but it's good that you gave us a little info to go on and your exif data is intact.
The mannequin looks quite realistic. Are the eyes and ears like that or did you swap them from another image ?
Not quite sure why you used such a high ISO here, the subject isn't about to move or blink and a high ISO could lead to deterioration of your image.
I do like the concept here, quite arty, many different textures applied will give such different looks to this.
The very dark blue scattering bottom left of her neck is a little much and pulls my eye, maybe that could be toned down a touch.
I would be putting sunglasses, hats, scarves etc on her... but that's just me

Today I thought it about time I posted some images of which I find is ONE a day.
I'm NO Artist but I been trying to have a go at Digital Creative Art. What best place to get critique beside Facebook is in here with epz.
I never use a tripod, only used one around half dozen times in 30 years lol. I hand hold. My Oly has a 5 axis stabilizer in it.
I already done some with hats/glasses of which I'll post soon...Still looking n reading about posting images etc.
I work in RAW and use Topaz noise reduction if I get any noise. But noise helps me in my B&W when I put grain in.

Yes, when you uploaded you must have ticked the box for critique so your image goes into the Critique Gallery. It will appear in the main gallery also but you don't get votes etc.

I'll just add to the above that I would prefer the eyes to be lower in the frame, they are uncomfortably close to the top edge. Eyes are, literally, the focal point of any depiction of the face, always think carefully about placement. It's worth aiming to place them around 1/3 down in the frame, which puts them on a comfortable level with the viewer's gaze. Even if there is no direct eye contact.

Apart from the framing, with regard to the placement of the eyes, this is very good. The thumbnail jumped right out at me.

It's difficult to critique an image like this, but at the same time it's good to see something completely new and unique. I hope we shall see some more of your Creative Art.
The image's colour attracted me, and the textures used are also done well. The eyes look "real", and since eyes are an important feature of any kind of portrait, they certainly draw the viewer in. Did you add them to the mannequin?

I really like this - colourful and eyecatching. The composition is sound, with hte mannequin looking into the frame.
As to tripods - I rather dislike them myself, but for a shot like this I would always use one. IS is a big plus, and aids even the steadiest hand: but here, you're giving away quality unnecessarily by not using one, I reckon.

hi pamelajean---No, the eyes are the eyes of the Mannequin. I sharpened them before the texture then again after.
Hi dudler--I do agree that a tripod should be used, but I only got a small space..Once I get my Shed I shall use one..Mind you, the 5 axis stabiliser in the Oly works a treat.
