A rather elegant composition which works well in your chosen format.

Hi,

That black stick on top of the glass is a killer. I like the concept to make everything else black and white and keep the lemon yellow. But I think the photo could have had more impact if it was shot vertically and contained all of the glass, including its shape (it could still contain -just some of- the bar background). Please crop from the left a hair thin white line on the left bottom, it spoils your image. But not as much as what lies on the opposite side. Do I see a bar-tender on the right? I see a vague shape resembling the Elephant Man in a new cross gender version. Have I had too many last night?

it needs some crop alright, and a vertical shot would be awesome. I was working when I took the picture, so I didn't pay much attention to it.
well said though Wink

I bet it went quickly down someone's throat, it is nicely spotted as a potent image.
Being "always ready" is a good photographer's trait.

I like the arty way you have captured the glass with drink . the splash of yellow in the mono adds a little something extra to the photograph. GrinGrin
I love the B & W contrast to the yellow... excellent image!
Excellent image. Simple idea but with lots going on in the foreground. Love it SmileSmile
