Driving Through Scotland 54

By kinfatric
Its another famous scene I suppose but fits the theme well as this is viewed from just off the road at the Sligachan Hotel....pull over, park, take the shot and away again as simple and as quick as that...no fiddling with tripods, filters or stuff like that.

And I suppose you took that little drop of light with you on the back seat Kin Wink ?
Cracking view from a road & so worth the inclusion in your Series.

Quite similar in some respects to mine Kin.. mine is from up to the right of the mountain on the road to Uig and the Ferry to Lewis.

All the very best

Beautiful scene,
Fred.
I like those shots of Scotland. They really entice you to go there and they also bring back memory of quite a few trip there.
Great light you caught there. You can almost hear the stream and the curlews. JNC

Great image - brings back memories; I think that's the midge-infested field we camped in in '76. Weather looks better, though. Oh to be there now!

Ah yes, I still have memories of washing my hair in that very cold stream... Given the choice of camping at the official campsite or outside the pub the men in the party did not hesitate. Lovely, atmospheric picture.

Another fine shot in your series Brian, and a note to Dougie, the ferry from Uig goes to either Harris or North Uist, for Lewis you have to go to Ullapool.
