Droopy Head

By MrsS
So after the rip-roaring success of yesterday's upload (NOT!) back to safer waters Wink

Another ENGLISH Bluebell from our morning out at Fariy Glen, Parbold.

This was was clinging to the edge of a 10 foot drop to the not so raging (perhaps just a bit more than trickling!) torrent below. So I sat down and managed to use the rocks as a back-drop.

1/30sec @f5.6 ISO100 (shorter DoF, Neil, any better?)

Thanks for looking - - soon be the weekend Wink
Right I can hear a bottle of Magners calling gently from the fridge! Catch you all later Smile

Cheers! (literally!)
Fran x Grin

Yes! Wink but if you had a faster lens a couple more stops would be perfect. Maybe time for a nice fast 50mm?

They stand out well against the background though and I think you would be struggling to do better with the kit lens.

Not the kit lens, Neil, that's 18-55mm but not far off Wink

Thanks Hon Smile

Sorry, demonstrating my ignorance of the canon lens line-up!

Good to see a classic 'bell' shot. You have managed to really isolate these. Had a go at the bells myself so will be posting more soon. Keep up the good work.
