Very retro and very lovely. Like a window scene from Brief Encounter! Do hope that those are not your empties silhouetted but I suppose you had to keep warm!

I love the image and I'm extremely fond of Liverpool Docks - no jokes please - so an award is floating in on a damp cloud!

Compositionally spot-on, and unless I am mistaken, a whiff of Orton applied during the processing? Certainly complements the scene...

Only a teeny weeny whiff. Ortonesque light !
I actually wanted lots of people for the Lowry effect too but the weather was so lowsy that there were only a handful.
