Drops on drops

By oldgreyheron
Prowling the garden yesterday I spotted these snowdrops hanging on to overnight drops of rain.

1/320s @ f5.6

There's a lot more detail if you have the time to view large. Thanks as ever for taking the time, and especially if you feel able to give me some feedback.

Nice close-up work, Mike. I find these so hard to capture without blowing out the white, and I think the droplets have really helped with that here.

Thank you all. Question - should I have taken out those non-snowdrop leaves at the bottom - as I reflect I think perhaps it would have been better?

You've done a fantastic job at capturing the fine texture details of the flowers!

I'd keep the bottom leaves. They ground the photo, balance it out, and keep the visual flow - making they eye go back to the beauty of the flowers.

Great shot, lose the lower leaves they interfere with the definition of the lower white petals. Lovely!

I am so envious of you having snow drops when all we have is the snow!
