Dry stone Inversion.

By ringyneck
Yes I know....yet another from my New years Eve visit to The Roaches at daybreak. This one is looking to where the Reservoir should be and Hen Cloud is just to the left.
I have put this on in defiance of other members who think walls divide shots in 1/2.Well they did say that about my Ramshaw Farm shot anyway.
I cloned out a wire that holds the walls together in case you all don't like it.(see No2)

Please see LARGE + F 11

Manual @ f11, 1.3 sec, iso 100 and 14mm + Grad G1.

I see where you are at with the getting rid of the wire
I'm new to all this and at this stage just putting up the photos I see
But your 2 make me realise how to make a picture better
Now to the drawing board to see if I can do that sort of thing

No the wall doesn't act as an unsurmountable barrier with this one and yes much better without the wire.

Good work in removing the wire. It's the sort of case where I'm always tempted to take the 'because it's there' line - except that once you've seen the picture without it, it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Yep better without the wire and inspite of the fact that the wall leads your eye out of the shot you can't resist peeking over it and then seeing that wonderful misty landscape - sometimes controversial is good Wink Ina

I don't know if you've heard of 'Wire Pilot' but it's a great tool for removing unwanted wires from pictures. and a lot easier than cloning by hand.
