Duck for tea....

By steve_eb
On a recent visit to the Wildfowl & Wetlands site at Barnes in West London I was surprised to see this fox prowling an island within a lake.
After thinking about it logic took over and I realised it must be like us going to M & S for dinner such a wide and varied menu on offer in one place !!!
Still dont know how it got on the small island ???

Comments welcome...

He does look hungry, I don't know whether to hope he was successful or not.

Super capture, good detail.
Maybe it had a little boat pulled up on the other side of the island, they are very bright creatures. Smile

Thanks for comments... it does look hungry however the feathers in the water indicate a possible regular take away venue... re title the ducks were close but lake shape prevented that shot, shame, Steve

He swam, they go on the islands a lot Steve and normally are very successful there at Barnes. This one looks as though it needs a good meal or 2
Great capture
