Duddon Flow

By stevenj
Whilst meandering around the Duddon Valley at the weekend, before the snow fell on Sunday morning, I came across this rushing stream that lead into a tranquil turquoise coloured pool of water underneath the stone bridge I was standing on. I forget the actual bridge name.

Good comp and detail, I think if you had cropped the sky any more than you have then you would have lost the tree in the top right. I think I would have left it in too. Tracey

The rocks either side of the water act as an excellent frame. A superb composition.

Oh yes, the jokesters are still about Wink
Yeah I'm good chaps, my account is still active, just!

John - you're right, I remembered just as I'd hit the post button but couldn't be bothered editing! It is in deed Birks Bridge. By the time we made it round to Coniston it was getting a bit too dark for shots of the Old Man etc...

Tracey - thanks, glad you agree. I was waiting for barrages of 'ditch the tree' remarks Smile
