I like both pictures but prefer the mono. It gives it a bit more in the way of context.
Best wishes

I do like the coloured lead shot but for composition I prefer the B and W version.

Great pair of images but the b&w is outstanding.

The mod was to bring out a little more of those wonderful colours.

Award for the black and white.

A scene I know well.
Stay with the b&w, it's vastly better; the crop feels much too tight.
It would be interesting to see the unedited original, and the mist you were struggling with.

Lovely tonal range in the mono but I like the colour version too - even better with added saturation in the mod. Still to find this myself - your image inspires me.

The opener is very good. The monochrome is wonderful and receives my U.A.
It shows no colour on my screen, by the way!

P.S. The b&w shows no trace of colour on my screen.

Version 2 is the original file for anyone who would like to try their hand at processing it!
It demonstrates the disadvantages of shooting hand-held without filters etc at the side of the road while avoiding passing cars! (Not that I use filters.....I find them far too much of a faff Blush)

Just thought I would have a quick go at this in colour but I don't think you can better the black and white Fiona ...
