Very nice, but I think a little more cropped off the bottom would make it better

Hello Grant, now I would hope that a QS. could get this scanning business correct, lol...seriously from an old Snr Contracts Manager there is no substitute for handling the image digitally direct if you want as little problems as possible, even after that it needs a little P.shop tweeking to get it looking good on screen, but credit to a fine shot which I think you must have taken last Saturday night after the 5-0 defeat from Dunfermline...couldn't sleep see, LOL. Have a good weekend.

Ihave the same problems especially when scanning dark/contrasty images, you need to scan on a high resolution and then remove some of the contrast post-scan. You will never repeat the quality of a well exposed transparency as each time you handle the image the quality will suffer. The dedicated film scanners are the best option or pro-labs do a good job, I often select several images and have them professionally scanned to CD, this helps but there is still some degredation. I now use a digital camera alongside my film outfit and try to take in both formats.
