Dune Walkers

By teambergie
While visiting the Mesquite Dunes in Death Valley National Park, California, I ventured out towards the highest dune to capture the shadows created by the setting sun. The previous day had been very windy so most of the footprints made by the other visitors had been blown away. As I watched the shadows advancing, these 2 hikers came into view from the right side of the image. Thinking they had "bombed" my photo op, I watched as they neared the crest of the dune; looking at it now, the two hikers actually add a focus point to the image. Thanks, guys!
