Dunluce remix

By joolsb
Another day, another ruined castle Smile

And another revisted image. This is one shot I had real problems with. Nothing I could do to it made it look anywhere near as good as the original tranny. [ dramatic pause, Jeremy Clarkson voice ] ... Until now.

The first version can be seen here.

Nearly missed out on a click here Julian as Jeremy Clarkson makes my flesh crawl!
Anyway, I like the piccy (though I suspect the tranny is still way better than this digy representation). You must be getting a bit timid(!) as I feel you might have been better off taking the photo a few paces further forward - oblivion awaits!
Good stuff.

And on that bombshell ... Wink

I obviously can't draw comparisons with the slide, but the exposure looks spot on here and I like the fact that I can see some detail in the shadow areas. It really has to be seen in the large to fully appreciate it.

Thanks everyone. Seems like this one is as unpopular as the first effort. Oh well. It's good to know I'm not the only one who likes it! Smile

a bl**dy hard to place to photograph! I live about 15miles from there.

The right of the castle is in such a dark hollow, but you seem to have done a good job of it.
