Ooh, yes, this is lovely - the water in the fg and the detail in the rocks, and the sky has the space it deserves - a cracker.

Thanks David, Danny, Ange and Richard Smile

I've fallen in love with it too, Danny, pity about those lethal rocks! Wink

Certainly won't be for lack of trying, Ange & Richard Smile

This is a really well composed shot with bags of potential, Fran, which I like a lot.
A small comment if I may...?
The image seems to me to be of too similar a tonality, which results in a lack of the dynamism inherent in the water and the extreme perspective: it lacks a bit of "punch."
I'd be tempted to tweak the contrast using three separate masked layers; sky; middle ground; foreground, to try to darken the top of the sky (without blowing out the lighter areas), give the midground more definition, and bring up the highlights in the water a bit.
An added bonus would be to bring out more of the subtle colours in the sky.
Gently does it though, as it would be easy to over cook and unbalance the whole thing.

Oh, gosh. I've written a book. Again! Smile Well, you did ask!
All the best,
Hopefully, some new uploads from me week after next. So you can get your own back!

Thanks Carol, Ashminder and Bill.

Thanks for your input, Bill, always appreciated. Personally, I quite like the way the water and sky mimic each other, but I'll take another look at it after the weekend Smile

Cheers All

I agree with Bill, but as I've just shown you quickly it's an easy fix ... nice angle and timing though.

I have picked up my dummy, tho now I have seen you have passed by my way and i didnt get to know, I might spit it out again, lol
i like your shot, the contrast sugested could be a way to go but as a stand alone version, I like the muted hues in this even tho Im dark at heart.
