Durdle Door Milky Way

By jamesgrant
This is a shot I had wanted since I first saw it on the cover of Astrophotographer of the Year a few years back...This is of course Durdle Door, the natural stone arch on the Lulworth Estate...This was a lucky shot as we managed to get enough clear sky before the moon rose after along drive down during the day...Even luckier was the meteors radiating out from the core of the Milky Way.

Inspirational. Can't wait for the longer colder nights to give this type of photography a go.

Nice one.

Regards.
