Having spent a lovely evening at Hook Head Lighthouse photographing the sunset I'd packed up my gear and was walking back to the car when I noticed this scene and just had to photograph it. I really liked the waves breaking around the headlands in the foreground leading the eye to the Lighthouse against the colourful dusk sky in the background. All in all I think it makes a nice composition.
