Hi Dave, I meant when you saved your final version to JPEG, you've saved the file size down below 100k, when you can save up to 400k. The larger file size will in turn give you much better detail and better gradations in your sky ... this will help it appear much smoother.

That makes perfect sense. I have just had a quick go with the same raw file and see exactly what you mean. I'll have a bash at redoing the shot completely using this advice.
