A fine comp with a great placement for the diffused sun.

Quite a bit of JPEG compression artefacts as you seem to have squeezed it down to less than 100k [you can have as much as 400k].

Thank you. I confess that is way over my head, I'm totally useless with post production and have just aquired photoshop but I guess you are talking about the conversion from raw to jpeg. I will google to see what you mean Smile

Hi Dave, I meant when you saved your final version to JPEG, you've saved the file size down below 100k, when you can save up to 400k. The larger file size will in turn give you much better detail and better gradations in your sky ... this will help it appear much smoother.

That makes perfect sense. I have just had a quick go with the same raw file and see exactly what you mean. I'll have a bash at redoing the shot completely using this advice.
